This year’s Skin Fair is set to begin on the 14th and will run until the 30th. There are three sims full of beautiful skins to choose from, and certainly something for everyone.

Filthy’s exclusive Skin Fair 2014 release is called Chloe, and has quite a lot of options. Here I’ve taken photos of a few of them in Ivory, but there are so many to choose from!

Here, I have the base, mole, red eyeshadow, eyeliner + mole, light freckles, and eyeliner + mole + light freckles.

Included in the pack per skin colour are:
· Base with cleavage option (tattoo or undershirt layer).
· Lipsticks in dark, nude, pink, purple, red.
· Eyeshadow in blue, green, pink, red, teal, yellow.
· Freckles in three shades, a mole, and eyeliner, and layers combining these.
· Five different applier huds.

There are six skin tones in total, Snow, Ivory, Tan, Beach, Sunkissed, and Choco. Chloe is a beautiful skin, and is actually really affordable, too! For L599 you can get a full pack of one of the skin colours.

Filthy will be located in the middle of Sim 2, so it won’t be too hard to find. Also, in addition to the exclusive Chloe, they’ve also put up six other wonderful skins for you to demo, so stop in when making your rounds and try some out!

when the fall comes

I’m not dead, I promise! I actually recently got a newer computer that can actually run SL, so I’m really excited about being back. My old computer would only get an average of around 5-8fps at home with nothing around me, down to 1-3 if I was in someone else’s sim. It made things really difficult, especially blogging, so I did kind of let it fall behind, and I apologize for that.

I’m here with more She & Him items. I really do love this event, so I’m excited for each new round to start. This time, I’ve found a great dress from Leri Miles Designs. This cute dress comes in a lot of colours, but I really like this one, which is Peach. My favourite part of this dress has to be the sheer over skirt, which I haven’t seen a lot in mesh and am really excited for! The dress underneath is in a simple sheath style, which works wonderfully with the over skirt.

If you’ve read my blog before, you know that it was through She & Him that I began my love affair with Ariskea. The boots I’m wearing today are from that wonderful store, and come in many fabulous colours with super realistic textures. Regrettably, I haven’t bought out the full inventory of this store yet, but I am certainly still planning to!

off to never never land

It’s a new round of She & Him and I’m excited! I’m bringing you two items from the event in this post today.

My first item is my totally cute little dress, Anny by Chandelle Design. It’s a cute, simple design, that I’m definitely going to want to keep wearing, even as it gets colder outside. There is a cute, thin mesh belt detail on this dress, and the way the dress falls around it is really nice and realistic. The texture is also very realistic, and looks good from both up close and further away. This dress comes in six colours, so be sure to stop in and pick one (all?) of them up before the round ends!

The second item is my pose itself. It’s from the Jaycee set, by pose+ivity. I liked a lot of these poses, and how unisex they seemed to be. I think a male or female avatar could benefit from them. The’re casual enough for a number of different photographs, so do check those out too!

My favourite part of the She & Him event is definitely the “him”! I have a bit of a hard time finding men’s stuff that I really like, since most of it isn’t my style, so having an event where so many great designers get together and offer men’s items as well is just great.

Today Tatsurou is wearing a top from She & Him by [SAKIDE]. The design of this one is so fun, with the split of the two colours down the middle. The detail on the fabric texture is really nice, too. This shirt comes with cuffs you can add separately (or not at all, I suppose) in multiple sizes, and I chose cuffs one size up from the one he was wearing.

There are other colours available in this Duo shirt. They’re so fun, I’d recommend picking all of them up!

My pose is from SAAL, and is one of ten available for men at the event. You can never have too many male poses, so be sure to pick those up if you can as well.
